INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
STEP 1: Unfasten all HOOk&LOOP straps on the brace and separate the bracket from the collar before use
STEP 2: Wear the dog collar around the neck. Adjust to a comfortable length
STEP 3: Gently wear the brace on dog's leg. And let the stabilizers on the outer leg

2，What is the difference between ACL and CCL injuries in humans and dogs?
ACL injuries are extremely common in athletes and are usually the result of acute trauma caused by sudden movement (e.g. changing direction or turning while running or jumping).
CCL injuries in dogs are usually gradual rather than sudden and worsen with activity, and by the time the owner realizes the problem, it is often already serious.

3，What are the risk factors for CCL injuries in dogs?
1. Breed: Certain breeds of dogs are more prone to CCL injuries, such as Labrador Retrievers, Newfoundlands, German Shepherds, Rottweilers and Golden Retrievers.
2. Obesity: Excessive loads on the CCL tend to make it more susceptible to injury.
3. Lack of consistent and regular exercise: Sudden, intense exercise may exceed the CCL's tolerance and result in injury.
4. Overexertion: CCL tears in dogs can occur gradually and slowly and worsen under repetitive stress.
5. Age: With age, the CCL becomes less strong and less able to repair itself, making it more susceptible to injury.
6. Other factors: Some studies have shown that 5% of males and 8% of females who were sterilized before the age of 12 months are susceptible to CCL injury in old age.

4，What are the symptoms of a CCL injury in dogs?
1. Hind leg lameness and limping: Early mild CCL tears show up as a walking limp, especially most noticeable when standing up after lying down, and a preference to use the uninjured leg more often.
The injured knee is used less and less, putting extra stress on the other knee.
This is why in 60% of CCL injuries can result in an injury to the opposite knee.
When the CCL is completely torn, the back leg is unable to land, especially the lower leg, and the injured leg is therefore unable to bear weight and cannot walk normally.
2. Swelling of the knee joint or muscle atrophy: Early stage of knee injury due to inflammation can be swollen joints, later stage of the disease due to the lack of exercise of the injured leg for a long period of time, muscle atrophy will occur.
3. Changes in sitting posture: it is difficult to stand up from the floor or jump.
